Dr. Shubhangi Bhave MS, DNB, has been an ophthalmologist since last 30 years. She has worked as a Lecture and Assistant Professor at GMC, Nagpur for 10 years before starting her private practice in 1994. She hasspecialized in treating all types of eye disorders; prominently among them are squint, cataract and Oculoplasty surgeries. Her Academic record was meritorious and has passed all her exams with flying colours.

She has held many important portfolios in various ophthalmic organizations. She is the past President of Nagpur Academy of Ophthalmology, Vidarbha Ophthalmic Society. She was Scientific Committee Chairman for Vidarbha Ophthalmic Society for 3 years from 2011 to 2014 and at present is member of Scientific Committee of Maharashtra Ophthalmic Society.

She has presented her work in various societies at State & National level. She is a regular contributor to Strabismus Society of India. She has demonstrated live squint surgeries at state and national level. She was awarded Dr. B. S. Goel Award by SSI for the year 2013-2014 for best presentation.
